Parent Teacher Association

The PTA. was established in 1985 to represent all parents and  teachers and is affiliated to the National Parents Council (Primary).

The aim of the PTA is:

 

(a) To encourage practical participation and foster co-operation between
the partners in education (parents, teachers and school management).

 

(b) To encourage practical assistance to the school, e.g. in relation to
co-curricular activities and the provision of school equipment and teaching aids.

 

(c) To provide information for parents as required by way of  discussions, talks,
training courses, etc.

 

(d) To provide a forum for the exchange of information between
the Board of Management, the Parent Teacher Committee
and the Parent Teacher Association.

 

(e) To make representations to, and seek advice from,
the National Parents Council (Primary).
