SCIENCE WEEK 2019 took place in the school from 10-17 November. The theme this year was climate action, seeking to help people understand climate change, how science and technology can help us create a positive climate future and the impact we as individuals can have on climate change.
Every teacher undertook science experiments from the strands of the science curriculum. It was great fun! It allowed the children to see cause and effect and gave the children an opportunity to question and problem solve. We took photos of our science experiments and we put these photos in a scrapbook as one of five steps we are compiling towards the Discover Primary Science Awards. We also wrote-up our experiments in an orderly fashion. I hope you enjoy reading and seeing some of our scientific work.
